ABIN-PA is a nonprofit organization of brain injury survivors, family members and friends who are helping others on the journey to recovery.
ABIN-pa is dedicated to increasing public awareness about acquired brain injury, and to providing support, education, information, advocacy and other services for individuals with acquired brain injury and their families.
ABIN-PA incorporated on June 1, 2007, but activities began earlier with a website in August 2006 and a free monthly newsletter in February 2007. Now, ABIN-PA also provides an InfoLine, a PeerConnect program, speakers, staff training, more than 25 different brochures, several booklets, individual and public policy advocacy and collaboration with other nonprofits. The newsletter now reaches 1,400 subscribers. Click here to view a map that shows where the Pennsylvania subscribers are located. We invite you to help - contact us at 1-215-699-2139 or email@example.com - it is really very easy. As a first step, just carry a few pamphlets with you to give away when opportunity knocks because people are desparate for information. You can request them or print them from the web. Also, you are welcome to attend the Board Meetings, Newsletter Mailing Parties, and Annual Luncheon as listed in the newsletter. At all events, survivors and families enjoy sharing their stories and encouraging each other on the road to recovery.
We also welcome donations. ABIN-PA relies on tax-deductible donations from survivors, family members, friends, rehabilitation facilities, professionsls, support groups, businesses and "in lieu of flowers". Donations large or small can be made through this website or mailed to:
ABIN-PA, 2275 Glenview Drive, Lansdale, PA 19446
I hope you are excited to learn about our organiztion and can volunteer or make a donation. As you can see, ABIN-PA survivors and families are reaching out to help those on the journey to recovery after brain injury.
Hoping you can help!
